Sandra Poppema, BSc founded HippoLogic after her study Animal Management in 1999. The name marries two of her greatest passions: horses and science. Hippo means Horse in Greek and Logic translates to Science/Knowledge about. Sandra’s aim is to educate horse people about horse friendly, force-free science based training and horse keeping.
HippoLogic’s mission is to enhance horse-human relationships and improving equine welfare by educating horse owners and equine rescue organisations.
Logo: The HippoLogic Logo represents how two horses greet each other. The better we understand the language of the horse, the better (and friendlier) we can train and connect with these magnificent animals.
